WE DID IT!!!

The title says it all! It's been over a year now since we started this book, and it's been all over the world. I wasn't always sure that we'd be able to make it in time to have the project finished for our offical "wrap party" in Baltimore....but we did it.

I am very proud of this book, and very proud of the friendship and love that it represents. Thank you, everyone!

So, here it is! A final message from our resident rockstar, and fearless leader, Mr. Tim Sale!

This is the last sketch in the Tim Sale Travel Sketchbook Project, but it's definitely not the end. Keep your eyes out for more!!

Almost There.....

As we near the end of our long journey, and are now ever so close to "the gathering"...we needed some major stepping up to get our book finished in time.

*UPDATE*

The Ninja revealed! While John was busy with the party preparations in Baltimore....I was able to snap a few photos of his top secret contribution to the sketchbook. Among other little touches throughout, John added some interactive pop-up art as his main piece, a self portrait, several uncut sheets of the first ever Tim Sale Board trading cards, and "The Knothole Gang".....a collection of self portraits from some of Tim's friends in the industry.

Great stuff, Steve! Our book is on the home stretch....and while it doesn't look like it's going to make it's way to Timmy before Baltimore, at least many of us get to look forward to seeing his face live when he opens it for the first time....maybe we can even get it on video.

The sketchbook made an appearance at Dragon Con this past weekend, and increased it's cool factor by a million!
